I am thrilled to be a part of the Ascent Academies network of schools and excited to be a part of opening our newest campus in Saratoga Springs.
 
I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh. In my 20 years as an educator, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private, public, Title 1, and dual immersion, in several states across the country. I came to Utah nearly 14 years ago, and it quickly became home for me. I have also found a home in my professional life with Ascent. I made the switch to Ascent and charters three and a half years ago to open our West Valley campus because I truly believe in Ascent's mission and vision, and I have enjoyed seeing that come to life over the past three years.
 
In my free time, I can usually be found doing some type of home improvement project. I am a bit of a DIY addict. The rest of my time is usually spent cooking and baking with my husband, skiing in the winter, and watching football (Go Steelers!).

I am so excited to begin our very first year at Ascent Saratoga Springs and can't wait to meet and get to know all of our students and their families. It is sure to be an amazing first year full of joy and success for our students, faculty, and families.
